I-CANUK Recommended Literature

The following are a selection of papers that will be of interest to those involved in the follow-up of patients after intensive care. No formal search strategy was used to identify the papers and therefore the list will be by no means fully comprehensive.

The highlighted literature is hopefully an insight into some of the more important studies pertaining to the differing aspects of ICU follow-up.

In each particular topic an attempt has been made to classify the literature into three main categories:
  • Papers that are reviews
  • Papers that represent primary research
  • Papers that are methodological in nature
Please contact us if you feel that important papers have been overlooked and in your opinion  should be added to the I-CANUK library.
